Caviano-based studio Wespi de Meuron Architeckten has restored Casa Olivi as 300 years old located in Treia ,a town in the heart of Macerata in the central Marche ,Italy.The new Tuscany . Completed in 2010 almost four years of renovation .
The outside style has been preserved as the building protected by the Italian Cultural and Histroy Administration but the inside has been entrirely re-organised according to a luxuruous ,high comfortable and minimalist style .this beautiful 3350 square foot farmhouse now offers a 11 sleeps in five ensuite bedrooms. Casa Olivi can booked all year around from 4,200€ to 8,400€ per week depending on the season .

The villa presents design furniture from Italian ,Spanish and French designer ( Vitra ,Cassina ,Gandia Blasco ,Philippe Starck ...) as well as funiture desgined by Wespi de Meuron

Skyhouse By David Hotson Architect (Video)

The special 4 level penthouse apartment is situated atop of 1 of New York City’s earliest steel skyscrapers built in 1896.

It was entirely re-created by NYC-primarily based studio David Hotson Architect, in collaboration with interior style studio Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design.

The penthouse features an wonderful polished steel slide that spans from the attic to the entrance floor!

“skyhouse is a house in the sky, a residential penthouse located at the summit of one of the earliest surviving skyscrapers in New York City.

The 4 story penthouse structure, which had never been used as a residence, was created in 1896 as an archetypal hip-roofed residence kind situated twenty-a single stories above the street.  In the intervening decades this penthouse has been steadily surrounded by the astonishing vertical cityscape of Decrease Manhattan. From the private elevator vestibule, lit by a skylight which frames the apex of the adjacent skyscraper sixty stories above, the ramped entrance hall passes via the facetted shaft of the stairwell.

The original riveted steel structure –among the extremely earliest steel frames utilized in skyscraper building in New York City- threads by means of the stairwell, slipping past the seamless glass bridge to attain the glass floor of the attic 4 stories above the entrance level.

In the major living space the original steel frame was reconfigured to allow the space to ascend to the underside of the hipped penthouse roof 4 stories above.  The 50-foot-tall living space tapers upward previous a mid-level balcony suspended in the steel framework, to an inclined glass wall which encloses 1 end of the at the attic level –and provides a vertiginous view down to the major level 4 stories below.

At the other finish of the attic, a circular hole cut into a similar outward sloping glass partition gives the entrance to the slide.  The mirror polished tubular stainless steel slide supplies for a rapid descent –sweeping over a bedroom, out via a window, and more than the stair, just before coiling down via the library ceiling to arrive at the flared rectangular exit opposite the penthouse entrance.

All of the spaces of this residence exploit its scenario above the Manhattan cityscape with vistas channeled via all 4 levels of the penthouse structure at a range of scale to capture framed views of iconic structures in the surrounding 3-dimensional cityscape. While the accurate nature of these spaces can only be revealed to a visitor encountering them in the experienced present, the images re-presented here supply a glimpse of the expertise of this home in the sky above the city of New York.”
