The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.

Today I was searching for some new pics to upload on my Facebook page and I bumped into Beatrice Heydiri 's website .Her work is absolutely beautiful ! . Some pictures remind me of the strong Mediterranean vibration and inevitably got me into a melancholic mood .I have a quiet communion and deep connection to the sea .If you knew how many times the sea gave me the comfort I was looking for...I miss to walk down to the water and sit on a rock in the middle of the creek as the sound of the sea, sooths me, with tranquility. I love drawing into the rhythm of the the sound of waves breaking on the beach and breathing in the same rhythm .There is something about the salted sea air that memories, that were once in the back of my mind, come to light .It brings back childhood memories of the joy I had as children playing by the seaside .Just takes me where childhood memories are entwined with nostalgia for a vanished age...
