One of the best things to do in the Old Quarter of Valencia is to walk along the old tiny winding souk-like streets which are a reminder of the city's old Moorish past. One of my favorite places is a very small area located to the north east of the Old Quarter called " Barrio del Carmen ".I love the feeling of being surrounded by all the history and culture of this magical city.
Months ago after checking out a home remodeling project I was working on in Valencia I decided to go to the the bohemian " Creperie Bretonne Annaick " to tried some crepes for lunch ( all of them are delicious ).It's nice casual place located in a quiet area right in the heart of the old quarter right near to the Cathedral of Valencia .This is a creperie which provides a wide range of savoury and sweet pancakes freshly cooked . It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. As an unusual feature is that you are provided with crayons to draw on your table mat. ....Oh I forgot to say that the meals are cooked in a real bus that is inside the premises. It's SO cool !!!
I first stumbled on this place by accident and couldn’t believe how fabulously bizarre it was. If, like me, you’re a fan of vintage furniture and retro finds, you’ll absolutely love it.
Inside you can find a couple of amazing recycled siphon bottles chandeliers ... just the art of recycling in its pure state.I fall in in love with them at first sight .
